It is time to rebel!

As of right now, the world is facing a climate and ecological crisis which will soon lead to the world imploding if nothing is done. In saying such "...it is now time for civil disobedience. It is time to rebel." (Greta Thunberg)

Taking into consideration of what is happening to our earth, School Strike 4 Climate held a Global Climate Strike on the 20th of September at The Domain for Sydney siders. With such, 350,000 people nationwide attended the climate strike on Friday, overflowing major cities with deep concerns and worries about the fate of our Earth.

Joining the strike, the band "the 1975" also joined forces with the young and old. With such, they all shared the same demands which were

  1. No new fossil fuel, oil or gas projects.
  2. 100% renewable energy generation.
  3. Funding for a just transition and job creation for all fossil-fuel industry workers and communities.
