A change or a crises?

We may live in an era where the whole planet is collapsing, but still there is a hope. Hope that the future might not be as gloomy as it seems. Hope that the future generations aren't as gullible as we are. But until when are we gonna keep this facade, that behind those curtains of hypocrisy and power and innovative ideas, we are nothing more than scared people; scared enough to not know how to act anymore. The very fact that, across 98 percent of the planet, the end of the 20th century saw the hottest temperatures in the last two millennia. And since then, average global temperatures are still increasing, is more than enough to teach that the EARTH is dying, and it's gonna take all those who have made her die with her along with those who knew what was happening but still kept quite about it. Yes, there were some patches of climate ups and downs throughout the history, but today's warming is truly global. And nothing like it has been seen in the past 2000 years. What's more, temperatures are increasing now much faster than at any time in the last 2000 years. According to the recent finding based on newly available global paleoclimatic data, it is said that previously the climate ups and downs were mainly driven by natural causes, such as volcanic eruptions, the research shows. Modern warming is due to human-caused emissions of greenhouse gases. 2018 fourth warmest year in continued warming trend, according to NASA, NOAA. Despite the various degrees of problems, the question still remain the same, how long before the Earth gives up? How long before all the planning and scheming goes in vain?
